Running Projects


Initiative of Hygiene, Sanitation and Nutrition (IHSAN) in Konar and Nuristan funded by USAID through FHI360 (July 2016- July 2020)

 

IHSAN (Initiative for Hygiene, sanitation and Nutrition) is a multisector integrated project which will focus on a three-prong approach:

  1. Improving the delivery of nutrition, hygiene and sanitation specific and sensitive services within the existing system of Afghanistan, with a particular focus on the public health system’s basic package of health services (BPHS);
  2. Fostering rapid adoption of optimal nutrition, hygiene, and sanitation behaviors at the house hold and community levels
  3. Increasing availability of nutrition and sanitation products and services.

The project activities will contribute to realization of the three objective, which are:

  1. Capacity of institutionalize nutrition programs enhanced
  2. Adoption of optimal nutrition and hygiene behaviors at community and household levels increased.
  3. Availability of nutrition, hygiene, and sanitation services and products increased.


Child protection Project in 3 District of Kabul in partnership with Save the Children in Sept 2016. The project is supported by Sida for the duration of 3 years. The objective of the project is to empower vulnerable children and their families through capacity building and Income generation activities in 3 districts of Kabul city.

WHO Primary Health care clinics projects in Zabul. Establishment and running to 2 Health centers in remote and White area of Zabul Province.

 

Community Midwifery education Zabul through UNICEF funding. Objectives of the project is training of 24 female as community midwives for the duration of 24 months.
